Hundreds of people went on the streets of Sofia on Sunday morning to protest against the closure of the torrent sites.

The rally ended in the South Park in the capital, but there was a two hour delay because of problems with the electricity supply at the stage in the park.

Actions of the police are inadequate and comical, the protesters said.

The biggest torrent sites in Bulgaria are currently inoperable. The owner of one of them, the Arena, was arrested last week but was later freed as no evidence against him could be gathered.
