There's so many different types of cigar - two of my uncles old sea dogs(Royal & merchant navy) used to smoke Oaxaca cigars from Mexico and Trichonopoly's which were from India.Β Smoke and fumigate the cottage at the same timeΒ

nice, now I usually smoke cigarillos, but what would be a good first "Churchill" size cigar?

good question. minimum 3-4β¬ and up. I like a brand exclusive done for a local tobacco shop. Dominican Republic is good in quality and compare well with Cuban quality products. Just be aware to smoke a Churchill you need 2-3 hours. So take your time. For smoke it the first time maybe a lighter taste could be better but it depend on your own taste.

haha your " Cohiba Robusto " is an imitation!
look at the banderole :
the yellow zone is much bigger than the one of the original
and the lettering of COHIBA is not shiny.
also the black line with the white squares is different!

Maybe... but unlikely as it is bought in a licensed government store and the import to Germany for sell in those stores go only over a sole-importer. I also checked some fake recognition guides to know exactly the difference as I bought a few cigars for testing in Vietnam who are surely faked Cohibas but would match your description of differences very well. Especial the line of how many point rows should be on the black part is strange. It is sayed real one should have 4 not 5 but I checked that this may vary maybe on some formats.
anyhow thanks for the tip I maybe check my tobacco store

I didn't know there were so many different types of cigars... I thought they were like cigarettes, you know, the brand and composition may vary but the shape is always the same...
