So here we are, Josiah's big dramatic reveal. I think a lot of people were expecting a bit more in regards to why he's so far in the closet, but the truth of the matter is that for a lot of people it isn't really like that. Sometimes it's just a lot of shit that you internalize throughout your whole life and weave so tightly into the fabric of who you are that it gets really hard to separate.

We walk our whole lives through the woods of other peoples expectations losing our way amongst the thicket of their perception, but what many of us forget is that we each carry the light of ourselves and this light pushes back against the dark. We just have to keep it lit.

Exactly. It can be easy to feel like that light isn't strong enough to push back against anything--or worse, to think it's gone out completely--but there's always at least an ember burning. And as long as you have an ember, there's still hope for a flame.

We can't focus on the dark, we need to look to our light, let it fill our vision and we will see that there's nothing that can penetrate that.
