Someday I'd like to draw Alan and Josiah's night together. I have a few ideas for how it went.
And thanks for bearing with me while I play around with different styles. I've been trying some new things lately.

I also really enjoy the metaphor (whether deliberate or otherwise) of Alan grabbing some "important shit". Much like the age old, "I have to get to class" or "I have a food in the oven". My personal favourite being "I have to attend the opening of my garage door".

I didn't notice much of a style change O: I guess because I'm just enjoying the comic. There is one thing I noticed; I dunno how you feel about this sort of critique, but Alan's hand on panel three? His thumb is too low, I think. The tip should be just below the knuckle. At least that's how it is on my hand. I'm no expert at drawing hands lol, it's just something I noticed and had an idea of why it looked off, which I usually don't.

Ah yeah, you're definitely right about that! One of the changes I've made in the last few pages is that I've moved away from relying on references as much and instead been trying to learn anatomy on my own. Hands have always been a problem area for me and I think I'm starting to figure them out a little better, but I certainly still need some more practice!

That's a pretty good goal, actually. There is one good thing about hands, though... You always have an extra one to reference when you're drawing
