hi. sorry to leave a long, rambling post. anyway, i saved this image forever ago and forgot where i got it from. then just yesterday or so, TvNihon made mention in a news post of a thread where people could submit banners for the site forum and splash pages for the videos. i remembered i had this image saved, and edited it to this: [link] minus the name in the corner. that i put in only after i was told that was allowed.
then at about the same time, i remembered where i'd gotten this from, and went to ask if that was ok, when someone made a post linking here, asking me to prove i was you so i wouldn't be accused of art theft. since i'd been planning to anyway, i admitted to having used a base image that wasn't mine, and asked if it would still be usable if i got permission from you.
so, the reason for this: may i have permission to use this image, albeit in the edited form, for the splash page submission? i'll even edit it again so it says you made the base image.
