[Note: Villains are almost done, so from here I'm gonna start uploading post-time skip redesigns of the Nightlighters, alongside the rest of the villains and the Mysticals.]

Quite a lot can happen in 2 years, especially when you're the figurehead of a new age of heroes; in this time, Dakota Hartigan has improved significantly with both his leadership, fighting skills, and power; though he’s still dumber than a hammer, he now maintains a silent confidence in his abilities, has settled into a mutually loving relationship with Emmeranne Grace , and is the proud rider of a colossal black dragon. It is quite safe to say that Dakota has fully moved on from the dead-end life of a community guard... and has embraced the galactic messiah figure known as Commander Atlas.

...he's named his dragon Waffle. And he's grown an utterly horrific beard that he thinks is absolutely amazing. Everybody else absolutely hates it.
