80% of Vale and Comcadde's early conversations are various rephrasings on 'I have a penis and will whip it out at any time. DARE ME.'
They are 3 parts insecurity with a dash of profound resentment over their respective midgetdoms.
Meanwhile Blask is over there like, 'don't need a penis to make you cry.'

Oh, trust me, there is blame to go around. That is part of what the rampant bickering is about. Vale is all cranky because he can't really argue that he was the one who got Harlem and Comcadde dumped in with the rest of the slaves (but he DIDN'T GODDAMN ASK FOR THEIR HELP OKAY THEY ARE DIRTY HUMANS), and he feels bad about it, and he hates that he feels bad about it, and so it's clearly their fault!
Comcadde, meanwhile, actually had to make this decision earlier about whether or not to try to save Vale from his own stupidity--and despite the fact that he hates Vale, and is convinced Vale is hitting on his sister, AND loathes the Kinnah so profoundly it makes him sick--he can't just let the asshole die in front of him. And so Comcadde steps in.
...This gets him beat the heck up, shoved in a dress, and him and his sister sold into slavery.
Not his best week ever. What we have witnessed from Comcadde thus far is a spectacular tantrum.
Meanwhile Harlem is busily doing constructive things like blaming herself and trying to think of a way out of this mess.

Nah, Harlem has a much worse punishment in store. See, she doesn't scream at things or beat people up.
She waits. Like a snake coiled in the darkness, anticipating the opportunity to strike.
There is a far worse fate in store for Vale and Comcadde now that she has had to listen to them squabble all the way to the slave market.
She is going to make them get along, dammit.
