Description
Can't remember the last time I did one of these, but here's to me making up for past years of veiled in a thick, viscous film of slothiness.

And we're ending 2013 with Aesther and Ornias because, let's all be real, it's been pretty fucking offensive.

Ah, September..... I didn't draw anything that month, and for many different reasons. We'll settle with that being the grossest month of 2013 and as such, my good boy Signe will cover it so it's not completely empty--which was my second best choice to display for August.

And by all means, download if you'd like to see the full resolution.

      2013 Year In Sum

In general, I started practicing more with lineless work on a more casual level. Most of this is practiced through commissions, which is another aspect of this year. Four months in a row, all I had to show for were commissions--and if it weren't for me updating group apps, it'd have gone an extra two months where I drew commissions exclusively.

      2013 Weaknesses

My biggest weakness, mentioned here as well , is a plateau in quality. I've mostly stagnated at drawing characters without an environment to interact with. Another weakness is that I don't draw enough for myself--and neither because I haven't any time. Mostly because I lack the motivation. Skillwise, I still need to work on anatomy and fluidness of characters. I have a habit of doing what I think "looks good", and later seeing the flaws of negligence.

      2013 Strengths

Take a glance at January and then June and October. I noticed that I've gotten a hell of a lot better at drawing hands. ~Rubisu and *avodkabottle have actually been really big inspirations for me to improve those! Another thing about this year is that while I have done a lot of commissions, I've actually done a lot of commissions. This Year I spent time working on being a good seller. I still have a long way to go, but I'm doing my best to work on customer service. And a huge, huge improvement from last year is that I draw more than group apps. Still not as dynamic as I'd like to become, but I'm pretty sure all of 2012 would have been applications.

      2014 +

What do we have so far--A need to improve on content and productivity. Did you guys want to know a fact that I don't talk about too much? I failed Colour Theory twice. Even with how kind all of your words are towards my palettes, I still want to work on more dynamic colour schemes. As well as other basics like fluid anatomy and natural posing, I also want to create more energy in my works. This doesn't necessarily mean each piece is full of action, but instead I can elicit an emotion from my viewers more often. I want my work to start drawing others in; give them a reason to pause and look beyond looking nice and seeming cool.

      Thanks for viewing!

And a few short statistics on my gallery, inspired by *dCTb

Every 8.6 days frappuu uploads a new deviation, and it's usually on a Thursday, when 10 (24%) of deviations were submitted.

The busiest month was March 2013 when 8 (19%) deviations were submitted.

I know I'm gross and a faggot and passionate over the smallest things, but I just want to say I will always love your stuff. While I'm always okay with people wanting to improve, I just want you to know that you will always be inspiring to me - especially in aspects of quality and patience.

Just keep up the good work frapapiddilyops uv u I look forward to another year, always.
