This is what we (Shindou and I) did this weekend :3 So much fun!And surprisingly cheap, too. xD THe entire outfit cost less than $10.
The headband was bought at Claire's, $3.
The jacket we found at Once Upon A Child for $1.
The skirt, I sewed myself with $2 worth of fabric.
The shoes were found at Big! Lots and were $2.
GRAND TOTAL: $8 XDDD
This was a lot of fun to do though, like I said! *Is glad she suggested Shindou be Maria, as she's cosplaying a human Shadow at a con they're supposed to go to next weekend~* <3

And she's wearing the costume because she wanted to be Maria for a convention and not to mention, she's blonde. I have brownish black hair. xD

That's cool that you're going as Maria!! That's my intention for Metrocon in Tampa, Florida, and J-Con in Orlando.
Someone else is making mine. But, as soon as I get it, I'll put it on and have someone take my picture and let you see what mine looks like! ^^

gah! I have to find out from my friend. I'm going to go to J-Con now as Namine for the first day, adn Kairi from Kingdom Hearts ((The first one)) the next day. I'm going to J-Con with my friends, and they're going ((in this order)) as Riku, Axel, and Demyx. The next day, they decided to go as Sora, Riku, and Maleficent ((all from KH 1)) They needed a Namine and Kairi, so, I volunteered!! ^^
But, I'm still going as Maria to Metrocon. ^^
