The boot's about 90% done I'd say. The last thing I need to do is trim up the turquoise glowy line thingy around the gold part and this boot will be done.It took about 3-ish hours. Maybe 4. It didn't take too long to do -- the hardest part was trying to figure out how to make everything even without a horrendous amount of wrinkles... and I'm thinking of redoing the 'gem' to actually be a... well... 'gem' (I.E. plastic jewel). I dunno, but I hate it being flat.
All in all I am sort of liking how it's turning out... I'd say I am 3/5ths happy with it if it could be a fraction, haha. It was more difficult to get this boot done than my Reala one, but in some aspects it was easier.
At least (I think) it's recognizable!

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend ACEN '09. I went to a convention in Orlando, Florida instead and am possibly taking a trip to London in the later part of the year. It's a pity, too, since ACEN was so much fuuuuun~

Right now I'm gonna be a human Silver (I only have a week and a half before the convention! Talk about rushing), but I will be making a fursuit of him sometime soon. <: I'll be using the same boots for obvious reasons.

I think anyone who could should try to be Silver lmao. I'm a hardcore fangirl.
I went to Anime Central last year in Chicago, IL, USA... and there was a fursuit Silver there! I like... nearly cried when I found pictures online. I didn't get to see him. There was also a Sonic, a Knuckles, and a Tails... all fursuited and amaaaziiiinggg. There were a few other Sonic characters, but they were humanistic.
But making costumes isn't really too hard. I usually make mine without any patterns or anything -- it just takes a lot of patience and analyzing what you have and how to turn it into what you need to. My Reala costume I made completely out of scratch and I got a loooottt of attention for it at Anime Central. It was my first 'full' costume too... :3

I've actually tried making my own Sonic cosplay. Just trowing some blue jeans
and a blue shirt. But it never looks good. But meh.

Yeaaah, those horns took foreeeveerr. I made them out of foam and wrapped them in fabric. I'd say they took about... 20-30 hours. The entire costume took about 70 hours to get done. It was sooo time consuming!
