Ironically Casey Junior predates Thomas. Since Dumbo Came out in 1941 while the first Railway Series book didn't came out until 1945.

Well, it will happen in my story Leo, Benny, Rae, Johnny & Sir Topham Hatt, in which the Fantasy Films Team (along with Casey Jr, three T.U.F.F. Agents- one of which is a Super Train -, two ThunderCats and the entire gang of Cubs, plus two Thunderkittens, a human child -who's the adopted son of one of the T.U.F.F agents- and a little bearded feline mascot) are called to Sodor in order to help the Fat Controller out of a tough spot he got into with Heath Lynx - and the railway was on the line (forgive the pun)...
