Funfact: So apperently the robot used in the video was actually a re-purposed animatronic from the Chucky movies of all things, or so I've been told. Pretty strange but fascinating trivia I'd say.

Not sure why, but when watching the music video itself, I get the impression the two musicians are actually showing the small newlymade robot child what he is supposed to be via the TV, showing him that he is infact a machine built to run souly off of raw code and commands, essentially law by nature in order to properly function as intended.

And just seeing the machine's eyes when he's watching the TV screen, it almost looks very sympathetic with the eyebrows slanted, making it look sad, meanwhile the machine inside the TV is glaring angrily at the camera showing dominance and obedience as it goes off the script it was programed to do.

By the end, the child accepts what he is, and would thereby continue with the two musicians until his purpose is fulfilled. A human, it will never be.

At Least that's my crackpot explanation and theory, I'm sure some art snob out there has a more indeph explanation and meaning behind the video, but that's just my point of view of the subject.

I mean shit, least its not as edgy/depressing as the music video for "Prime Time of Your Life", where a girl straight up slits her entire skin off her body just before her parents walk in.... that one's just fucked up man.
