well, I haven't posted in a long time, so here's what I've got for now. I couldn't edit it AT ALL because my computer isn't set up yet, so this is straight from the camera to you all. Once I am settled and my computer is set, I will probably edit this, since the contrast is horrible, and it just plain needs some work.But for now, enjoy.

I see nothing wrong with the contrast. All I would suggest is to gradually and subtly burn-in the wall on the right side of the picture with special emphasis on graying-down the bright white top edge of the floor molding. Since the floor molding is the brightest part of the frame, it keeps drawing attention to itself, and the diagonal slant leads your eye to move right out of the frame.
You don't want the burning-in to look obvious. Try building it up slowly in gradual layers. You'll want the right very edge of the picture to be darker and then gradually brighten the wall toward where is gets closest to you.
Try it and see if you like it.

For a raw camera-to-screen shot, this is a real eye-grabber. I just browsed my way into your great gallery, and this one got me... probably a combination of the quirky clothing, that unusual squeezed-up pose and your expression. Even without a contrast touch-up, it's a great image!
