Description
I got this idea because A; hats with a bunch of fruits on them are funny, and B; it's kind of ridiculous how many companies try to cash in on dudebro types bymaking a worse version of a product, only dye it black and make it needlessly cumbersome and label it "for men".
Also, for some inexplicable reason they've also decided everything for men (and yes, that means everything form scented candles to yogurt to deodorant) needs to be bacon scented.

This will change the meaning of the expression "If [something unlikely] happens... I will eat my hat".

And now you've just given me an idea for a follow-up comic!

There was a study that discovered that American men would rather eat bacon than have sex. Sorry, I don't remember the details, but I saw this on ABC Nightly News some years ago.

Oh my goodness. xD I love this so much, gahaha- the sausage, bacon, and steak hat's gonna sweep the competition off the floor for sure!Β
You, my friend, are truly a mad hatter.Β
This is also super well-drawn ahaha- your comics are great. XD
I also like the point you're making here. It kinda reminds me of how (on the flip side) companies that make things for (mostly) men try to appeal to female audiences. Like that point where Pokemon (I think it was when they released the X/Y game) added "girly" things for you to do in the game like dress up your Pokemon and bring them to fashion shows and feed them treats and do minigames or whatever. Like you could definitely just tell they wanted the female demographic to play the games too. Β

Or the knife company who marketed pink "Barbie" pocket knives for girls. They are actually good knives.

Thank you so much, I'm so happy that you liked it!
And yeah, companies doing gendered stuff for women isn't any better. It's not just Pokemon, there's tons of stuff "for her" that's only more expensive, and pink/lavender.
It's as if they think female consumers never outgrew their Barbie phase!Β Β
