question-- on step 3, do you put on the lock AFTER you do that step or before?

I don't actually know why I have locked the layer there. You shouldn't lock it at all because otherwise you cannot draw on it anymore. ^^''

I have a question though.. Is this easier to do with a graphics tablet?
I dont have one so mouse is the only device I can use for the whole coloring process o.o

Yes, it is much easier to do with a graphics tablet, I wouldn't recommend a mouse for digital drawing.

I'm not sure how to get luminosity because when I choose marker and then click mode there is no luminsoity option. Tbh I don't even know what luminsoity does...Β

Luminosity is in the left or righthand side underneath the preview of the art, there should be something called 'mode' click on that and a dropdown menu will open and clickon luminosity. I dunno if that's a good explanation or anything

Sadly, this didn't help me... I tried shading it like in the tutorial but I made it look worse..Β Β I'm a horrible at shadingΒ

Not sure if its been asked but may I ask what setting do you use for Marker and Air Brush?

I usually use the default settings but I change the opacity depending the situation.
