Description
Commission for a Mister Ged of two of his characters... that took far longer to draw than they should have. BUT I am very happy with the outcome... I think I editted both characters at least 7 times each XD soooo picky... but that's okay~~ good practice!Anyway, for more information on these characters:
Romarny and Rodney belong to from his "Across the Stonewind Sky"

Hi. I'm the originator of this commission. 👍: 0 ⏩: 0
In the end I did colour one of these: Romarny (on the right), and used it on my business cards for a few years.
Blua, did you get the one I left for you at Supanova last year? (Or was it ComicCon?

Holy freakin detail! I think I like these two better as lineart than if you add shading; something might get lost. They do look like fun though. Do they interact a lot? In my head youve drawn them with chemistry of SOME kind, like flirting or a teasing antagonism. I guess I mean they dont look like theyre straight serious characters. Even though they may take their work seriously. Whatever that may be, lol. Im going to have to go find out how far off I am, lol!
Did you get suggestions/guidance or is this your own imagination after reading?

Hahaha why thanks!! and yeah >__< whenever people ask for linearts, I tend to but more detail into small things than I would if I shaded it or coloured it aaand I drew these characters after reading a few of the chapters from Ged's story (there is definitely some chemistry between them ^^ ). I also went back and forward with Ged a lot - he made me change a LOT of things T_T I think I scanned Romarny around seven times because there was always something to change! but as for the overall outfits, I mostly used my imagination. I drew the original pics and, after sending them to Ged, he'd reply with "nose needs to be bigger", "add more pouches"... stuff like that, and I'd edit it. I stamped my foot on a few things
but yes...
If you're interested in their story you should really speak to Ged~ his DA profile is linked above ^^ (note: he hasn't got any of his work on DA, you'll have to contact him for information)

Yeah I noticed that nothing's posted >.< I just might track him down!
That's rather amazing when you think about it. You have the ability to bring someone else's thoughts to life. Good for you! ^^

Hah, I *finally* decided to put my book title into DA search, and here I am.
I didn't know Blua had commented about the process she and I went through. (Yes, I was 'picky'!!)
Anyway, if you have any questions about the books, fire away. I'm here on DA a lot. Won't miss your messages.

They are very cool ^_^ Ged's work is brilliant~~ I think my love for them both is what got me through sketching them XD; *has never put so much effort into lineart*
