Finally I got something back from my ceramics class!! MY PITCHER!!
It takes making bisque firing (which depending on my teachers mood can take a week or so) glazing, three coats mind you, and then waiting for a glaze firing then hoping my teacher will let me take it home.
Its not the best thing I've done.
Thrown on the wheel with a pulled handle that managed to go crooked on me.
The glazes did a funky thing on the middle band too there were more purple designes but they bubbled and kinda dissapeared. Must have had a bad reaction with the green color which thankfully looks more like aqua in the picture than it does in real life.
but yeah
My twenty-some inch coil pot is taking me forever to glaze, my slab box is being bisque fired and I'm working on another combo pot so getting everything done is like trying to eat, take care of a kid, run a marathon, and work on these things all at one time ontop of my other school work.
Hopefully more on the way soon!
