Hihi! So I've been wanting to make my own creatures for a while now. After hours of sweat (sweating buckets literally because of the weather) and tears, here is the result of my hard work! I hope you guys will like

  We consume the darkness at our presence. Billions and trillions of us illuminate the night sky. Carefully raised at a star's core and descended to planet Earth to assist their fated companions, we are ÉTOILE."

History/Background Info

ÉTOILE is french for star. Etoiles are smart beings located in a star's core, containing all the energy and program for its star. Often referred as "dark energy" in scientific terms, normal humans are not able to sense its presence unless it has made a contract with one and descended to planet Earth.

Biology

They have humanoid characteristics for enhanced stimuli, and wings for navigation in space. In addition, they have a tail containing a jar of stardust tied to its end, containing their life energy. The amount of stardust decreases over the span of their lifetime, which is approximately 5-7 years. Moreover, when an etoile is injured, it can sprinkle one speck of stardust to heal its wound. Once all the stardust from the jar is used, it disappears into thin air and lives the rest of their lives as a white dwarf.

Etoiles can come in any gender, and they can only mate with their fellow etoiles. Their offspring may resemble its parents, but some physical traits may come out as recessive, co-dominant, or have multiple alleles. Every etoile is born with a birth symbol, an astrological sign worn either on the forehead or as a crown that marks the time of the year it was born. Additionally, they all have an insignia, which is the corresponding constellation of its astrological sign. The insignia is stamped on each of its wings, and various other parts of its body. Last but not least, each etoile emanates a unique energy, thus resulting in distinct colors.

Companionship/Etoile Care

Have you ever made a wish upon a star as a child? Little did you know, once you have done that, a contract is established between you and your etoile from the star. The etoile will descend from the stars as a companion ONLY when you acknowledge its presence. Once it has been descended, it can no longer return to its sheltered home, the star's core. An etoile is quite high-maintenance, as you must always play with it, clean it, and feed it three meals a day- human food works, but make sure to break up the food into tiny pieces. If you have not met the meal/play/clean quota, the etoile will start to lose its shine. Habitual negligence of any kind results in the etoile turning into a black hole and disappearing from your side forever.

2. You can make as many etoiles as you wish, but please tag me in your design so I can approve it. (jkk I just want to view your etoile, already have a favorites folder premade lollolll)
3. You may NOT make adopts or make money off of your etoile designs (unless I give you permission to do so).
5. ALL aspects of this species belong to me. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT steal any of my ideas.
5. Please be dear to your etoile(s). After all, you are their destined partner and negligence = disappearance and turning into a black hole?! ;^(
