When Dark Digimon invaded and attacked the temple Bagramon Rookie was stationed in, he was abandoned and his body partially deleted. He attempted to reconstitute his body with scrap data from abandoned Machine Digimon. Burdened by abandonment, Bagramon took in dark data and defected from the Celestial Digimon. His best friends among other Dark Rookie Digimon are Dracmon, Laylamon Rookie, Impmon and Chikurimon, and only confides in them. Deep down he still clings to his holy nature, but he keeps it repressed due to his misery at being betrayed. His special move is a dark Megidramon shaped bolt from its mouth (Darkness Wyvern). With its mechanical attachments, it has developed rudimentary hacking abilities to infiltrate areas of interest to bigger Virus Digimon.
