The fandom should stop giving me ideas sometimes.

This came about after reading a forum post on how Steeljaw was compared to Scrappy Doo, and how badly they wanted Megatron and Starscream instead.

I thought, well, why NOT make a Scrappyjaw? I mean, Batman: Brave and the Bold snuck in a Scrappy Doo joke through Ace the Bathound, so why not here.

Small, mighty, and highly intelligent, Scapmetal might be the ideal Decepticon if it weren't for his overzealousness. In his eagerness to prove himself to the larger Decepticons, Steeljaw's nephew takes things too far and often bungles his own plans. For someone so young, he's managed to compile lightyears of grievences all of which could've been avoided if Scrapmetal had been more careful.

Among all his misadventures, one notorious example was the planet Phantom: Scrapmetal enslaved the planet with the intent of harvesting their weapons tech for Decepticon use. In his glee, he accidently activated a failsafe giga-bomb he left behind instead of radioing Decepticon Command, vaporizing the entire planet and unleashing a billion furious energon syphoning alien souls on a near by Con outpost. Undeterred, Scrapmetal attempted to use an O-Part to harness the power of the ghosts and evolve himself into a Mega Emperor of Destruction. Instead, it caused him to evolve into a crazed Majin Zarak and go on a rampage until Steeljaw managed to placate him long enough to be taken down by the Autobots. Although rather proud of his initiative, Steeljaw (and Megatron) did agree that Scrapmetal needed a time out and was kept aboard and shuffled around several prison ships until he landed on the Alchemor.

Now on Earth, Scrapmetal wants to hook back up with his beloved uncle and make him proud with an impressive show of force against the Autobots and local populace. One of his first exploits was infiltrating a toy store and reprogramming all the electronics into drone troopers as a rudimentary army to help conquer Crown City. Not surprising anyone, the army was dealt with by Grimlock stepping on them accidently.
