Drew this during finals week, trying to keep my spirits up: characters from my kid's menu having a moment of self-awareness.I kind of wonder why this bluejay pilot even bothers flying this fool of a fox around the world all the time. It’s such a tiring lifestyle and it doesn’t even seem like he’s all that into breakfast. I guess he must enjoy the company? Really tempted to make some comics about Fix's exploits...someone stop me.

Loving the cross-hatching. The block colouring really works with it, as well- too much shading would probably just over-complicate it all. Great, as always!

For some reason they remind me of Star Fox 64 and Regular Show. More of Star Fox, though.

Oh man, I'm weak with animals and anthro, so deciding to go with this kind of thing for an entire menu made me kinda nervous. Ended up liking these designs a lot though. Glad they work for you too, thank youuu. ;o;

Gosh I'm so glad you think so, thanks. Having the clothes helps a lot, since it's animal anatomy that I'm less experienced with. But I guess for a cartoon like this the trick is in the proportions, like you said!

The way you describe the Jay kind of reminds me of John Watson. He doesn't seem the adventurous type, but put him with someone who is just that and he fits right in.
