La Quinta Gameros

La Quinta Gameros fué construida por el arquitecto Corredor, a petición de un riquísimo minero de Aldama. Él y su familia nunca pudieron habitarla, pues fueron sorprendidos por la Revolución; entraron las tropas a Chihuahua, y no tardaron en escoger la maravillosa quinta como cuartel. De dos pisos, sus balcones están decorados con balaustradas y rematados con frontones y magníficas esculturas neoclásicas. Su interior es también suntuoso. La bella residencia constituye una de las mejores muestras de art noveau de todo el país.

Fué amueblada con bellísimas piezas que pertenencen a la familia Requena; como ejemplo, diremos que las sillas que se hallan en la sala cada una tiene una talla diferente recamada de flores y querubines, o que existe una recámara para niña decorada toda completa con motivos del cuento de Caperucita Roja. Es visita obligada, ya que es única por su originalidad y excelente conservación.

La Quinta Ganeros was built by architect Corredor,as a favor for a rich miner from Aldama.He and his family were never able to live in it because they were taken by surprise by the Revolution Movement; troops entered Chihuahua, and took the marvelous place as barracks.The two-floor building has its balconies decorated with balustrades and finished with and finished with -frontones- and magnificent neoclassic sculptures. Its interiors is also sumptuous. The beautiful mansion is one of the best representations of art nouveau in all Mexico.
