I screamed internally when it was revealed that Bill possessed Blendin to get his hands on the rift. I mean Wendy would also be another possible choice becuase high school but Justin Roiland wanted to return the favor after Hirsch-sama cameod on Rick & Morty.

i feel like it would have been too obvious with Wendy? Blendin has his goggles to cover his eyes and he and mabel were on good terms and offered something timey that i guess made sense at the time because she was upset and desperate
idk i just wonder if Blendin's whole character design with the goggles was made for the sole purpose of him in the future getting possessed and going unnoticed???
