Nope, I didn't hate it. I just didn't like it that much. It had a lot of potential, but fell flat in the end. Still, I would be up for a sequel, if they ever make one.

well some people say its like that, others say its okay, just doen't have a tone for it and call it chapter 1.
I guess cuase its tom crusie playing tom cruise as Nathan drake as tom crusie. XD I did finally see pirates 5. its interesting, if its finally the final one, it ended on a good note of sorts.

That doesn't sound good at all. I guess it has that shared-universe problem, where a movie is treated less as a standalone and more as an episode of a series, just with a huge budget. Even Marvel had that problem with Thor 2.
Maybe it is time for a Pirates marathon. I have never seen Pirates movies. Well, I saw later half of the first one, but none of the others.

the frist one is the best in my opinion, but the fifth one minus some pacing and editing issues, works pretty good IMO.
