Why is she put in there. How long will she spend being in there. What purpose is it for. What if she needs to go number one and number two and needed to be fed.

Well, all her body - except her mind - is in suspended animation, so she can work just with her brain without worries about food or sleep.
This device is a pilot cockpit of spaceship that travels across the space between galaxies, so the trip can spend millenia.

I was recently very ill and wanted nothing more then to turn out all the lights and float weightless in the bath with soft music...but the water kept getting cold...ugh I had a moment where this artificial womb inveloped me...ahhh..wish it was a real thing would helped a lot during my pregnancy..intervienious nutrients and nausea meds...cause I couldnt stop pukeing would've been nice..
May I reinvent this apparatus..
