It's a lovely photo, nice contrasts of light and shadow, lines and tones, the setting is serene, it's a beauty!! I like the balance of architecture left/right, fore and background.

I'm not sure about this one. Seeing the snow (or frost) and reading the title I should be getting a feeling of cold. Yet somehow the golden sunlight makes this feel more warm than cold.

You have the beginings of a Winter Scene by Bruegel in this shot .. just needs lots of people playng winter games.

My new year wish is already being fulfilled! The shot itself IS interesting because the composition is so good. The white triangle (roof) on the left relating to the white strip on right (wall), almost parrallel, and the darkness underneath. And then the light...
This is pure blueturtle!

The shot itself isn't too interesting, but what makes this special is the delicate lightning! I love how the orange sun light on the trees and the building in the background creates a strong yet smooth contrast to the white, blue and gray bottom. Very nice photo!
