What we've got here is an anthro who does maintenance on the clocktower (keeps it clean and working) gazing at the gears. The thought of the creation of the tower and the amount of effort it must've taken to build and assemble everything -- that's astonishing to him.

What I was trying to do here was make those kinds of fantasy landscapes where things were mechanical and dark. This is the first attempt. I'll try more eventually.
