amen! i argree, there are lots of little things we can do to help others, fair trade, supporting charitys like oxfam or make poverty history. why should thousends suffer because of a few greedy rich people?
even if your not in a position of power there are still things that as individuals we can do.
just think, if we all supported just one charity that helped to educate people, so that they can support themselves, how much of a differance we could make. so why dont we?

PAL...as long there is humanity there will be poverty and war.If some nations can't deal with their problems and prefeer to kill theirselves well thats their problem ! if you want to do some difference start by making it in your own country being a better nation!

If i was in a position of power I would happily make a difference, not many people know what a difference we can actually make, say by raising awareness or just by buying fair trade stuff like clothes

Fair trade yes...but today due this politic of "helping countries in NEED" our societies are getting currupted from those who come from outside.
