Hey-hey, lookin' very stylish there CD!
I can see this new camera's better res than your old one, we've lost that aliased look that slightly marred your previous pix. At first I thought 'hmmm, the bleaching of the skin tones is a bit heavy duty', but looking at this image again I think I see your intent… with the bleaching out of the area behind your head, your face is defined purely by your hair and features on a flat white background, an ingenius trick I've occasionally seen before in the more artistic cosmetic adverts in magazines. And I love the text font, wherever did you find that? Another nice detail is the way the half bleached out swirl of the tattoo on your arm is reflected by the swirly curlyness of the font.
However, there are other elements of this piece that let things down a bit. The backyard background is OK, but I think if you'd layered in something more atmospheric and uncluttered it might have looked better. The semi opaque black vignette seems a tad inappropriate, how about a white one instead? Also I'm not sure about the pink inner border, altho' I see that it picks up on the bright pink highlights at the front of your hair.
Perhaps your now thinking 'Grrrr, that Mooncat's a catty bitch!' …but hopefully you realise those last remarks were meant in the spirit of constructive criticism. And at the end of the day it's just my opinion – there is no right and wrong when it comes to art nes pas?
BTW, I don't quite see the connection with faeries that you mentioned…?

I thought I looked a bit faerie like or nymph-like which is sorta like a faerie...bit different...and I love faeries.....so thats the jist of it...and it had just snowed.....*I was cold as hell*.....

Yes indeed: I think it's well worth reworking, as a stylized portrait it has much potential. I don't know if you're familiar with the use of DA stock images, but how about [link] as an alternative background? …just a suggestion. Also – sorry but this is another crit *extends claws & prrroaws* - if I were you, I'd tone down or leave out the lens flare… as it is it's got "I've been added on in Photoshop" written all over it. *retracts claws & slinks off*
