“What happened to my thinking couch?” Wayne exclaimed pinching a corner of it.

“Your wife had me come over to recover it. It was disgusting. But I guess you were talking about the fact you shrunk it instead,” calmly noted Diane’s friend Stephanie.

Dropping the couch into his left palm, he continued poking at it. “No no, I was referring to the fact it was recovered. You did a nice job. What about the recliner that was up here too?”

“Oh, I did it as well, but you stepped on it. Check your shoe next time you get a chance.”

“Why are you so calm right now?”

“I have to admit you stomping around like some caveman had me a bit concerned, but that’s over now, right?”

“I think so…”

“Fair enough. My husband is planning on going to a monster truck rally and then camping. I have no desire to go. So this gives me an out. Plus it will be fun watching Diane rip you a new one later.”

“I guess that’s true. So what do you want to do while I try and fix the machine?”

“Get me a cotton ball, and a teaspoon of tequila and put me in one of Diane’s ring boxes for safekeeping. Ill just sleep this off.”

“Sounds good.”

“Oh and Dad of the Year…get your kids out of the trash.”
