i am quite curious, what is the meaning behind the symetrical shpaes and line? ive noticed them in a few of your paintings.. ..every artist has something about their paintings from which you can tell its theirs, yours seem to have that alien-ancient culture feel.. with a touch of something modern.

first thank you your comments are always so welcome,thanks. the answer couls be as simple as im not very technically skilled so i use alot of comercial paonter tricks with tape, i like nice straight line when i paint a house or office.or it could be that i don't feel very in control of my life most o the time but i can cotrol paint, manipulate it, while girls and bosses even some family manipulate me.its my control, plus i got a littl O.C.D. thing, love detail,never know when to quit, gotta see those layers and lines mesh.come out the way i planned. also i have no sense of perpestive so in trying to add depth i layer lines in. was always fascinated with celtic knot work, maori and samoan tattoo styles, the line in peru.even the intense detail of asain writing.lines seperate us and draw us together, they are paths,roads lasers.swords and the threads of life. lightning and veins.some straight some bent and twisted,might be moon beams rays of sun,devine rapture.bars of a cage,lines of communication, in truth evrything ive said is mere speculation,i don't really know i paint then i see what has happened,sorry know its a cop-out.thanks again

mm detail is good.. i remember my friends were shaking their heads as i was doing an A3 extra detailed sketch of a brick.. and i am not kidding.. i tryed to draw every single dot and crack.. even if the cracks were 2mm big

Is that big brother in the corner watching? I like the musculature deliniation the way you stylized it. Don't care so much for the dark red on the top right though. I see the effect you were going for, but maybe a little more transparency would have looked better. Just my opinion for what its worth. Watch out for the yellow snow my friend.

no worries youre the first with honest critique. it was for a hot polish single mom, well i kept the painting tells how that went. and thank you. american irish in colorado we make the yellow snow, i loved the pic with the skeleton girl, dark and creepy my boys and i dig it. thanks again happy ho ho mery fill in the blank for your cross section of america. slante!

I like this one a lot. Is the texture on the scales really just paint? I like how her musculature is broken down like she is all hair or flame or water.

thanks so much youre too kind. the texture is just paint.i wait till its nearly dry then make the drop and blow on it to help keep the shape, did the same thing on a ring with wax(dragon scales). its hard to paint the muscles of the soul so i make my women burly to show their strength. pretty or not i can't abide weak women my mom was so tough and her mom whoa, she buried all three of her kids and keeps up the daily stuggle too,tuogh girls rock.i like women who want don't need. thanks again viva la pintura
