This is an old tutorial that I posted on how to make an abstract render in 3ds max. As with any tutorial, the best results will come if you expand on the tutorial and explore the different options to make your render exceptional.Sorry about the missing codec. many thankx for your tutorial.., but when i try to use "Raytrace" on the map section.., i cant render..., the program freeze and i have to get out of it...
any idea of why this is happening?

Pentium IV HT

lol.., dont worry.., since the day i make that comment i did a system upgrade.., now my new pc is much more powerful than my old one...

This tutorial looks great but it's so extremely fast that I can't catch some of the steps you're doing and I can't complete it! Gah!
After you stretch it to 100% can you tell me how you rotate it so it points to the side instead of up and down? I can't catch that *I'm totally new to 3DSM, just got it a few days ago*.
