This reminds me of the wooden walkway in Lincoln Trail State Park in Marshall, IL. Which is one of my favorite childhood memories of walking up and down the stairs with my dad when I was little and counting every single step, about 110 total. 
The walkway is a little different, its all wood the ridges beneath the railing are flat but its always been one of my favorite places to go when I visit the park and the forest looks just like it. It looks great I love it.
