Sulfice have formed in densely populated areas, where snowfall has been polluted by factories and fumes of cars. They eat polluted snow to strengthen their toxins.

So I completely changed this design! It was missing something for me, and when I stumbled upon the phenomenon of acid snow, I knew what it would become. Acid snow forms the same way acid rain does. So there's the inspiration! It was also based on kids eating snow, and on snowmen of course.
