This is a box (vessel) that was built for my mom so she canstore her subway tokens. She kept losing them in her bag so
i made her this lil box so she can keep them all in one place.
This vessel is made of copper dipped in patina and sterling silver. It was forged into this shape which became pretty tricky at one point as its only 1.5" in diametre. Building the hinge was also quit an experience.
I called this vessel Luna's Token Box cuz my mom's
name is Luna which means Moon is Spanish.
My mom loved her lil box!!

oooh! it's so pretty! it almost dosen't look like copper it's so dark.....but that makes it all the better because of the surprise I got when I learned what it really was....
that's a very unique idea too...a little case just for subway tokens ^.^
----OMG!!!!! have you seen the first Men in Balck movie? that CAT!!! was his name Orion? hmm... well, all I remember was that he had a galaxy hanging from his collar, and it was contained inside a little orb and this reminds me of it =^.^=
