2003. Painter, Photoshop. This is probably my favorite thing I have ever done. It incorporates elements of everything that inspires me. Sometimes I wonder if I'll be able to do it again...I hope so!Related content

This is gorgeous. The lighting and palette are incredible to begin with. The rendering and design are solid and detailed and really place this character for me. Beautifully done!

Oof, I feel incredibly belated in commenting on this, but I stumbled across this on someone else's prints Wishlist and just... wow. Sucked me right in, which doesn't happen too often anymore. The hues and the eyes and composition and the wonderful contrast between the carved stone and the baking hill is just... yeah. Hi, words fail? I could just stare at the background alone forever. So amazing.

What a wonderful and dangerous thought??? can you do it again??? no why would you want to. What a great opportunity to be original in your own terms. I do like the way it looks like your horned character steps out of the frame. It would make a great sculpture so that real horns seemed to emerge out of painting - crossing the boundaries between the two forms. The realism suggests this already. It would be interesting to see what you'd do with just colour without form....

My favorite part in it is the color scheme. The warmness and brightness on the background, and the cool shadows on the foreground... really different, a great idea, indeed
Also the character design is marvelous! All the accessories, and those horns, and his face/expression...
