Description
Pixie Dragons are mostly found on warm climates. Its "wings" are actually modified ribs that have grown into an oar shape and are now used for thermal regulation, sexual display and to appear bigger to predators and/or competition. They posses a large and sticky tongue that is used to capture insects, mostly ants and flies, but due to its aggressive behavior, it may attack anything smaller than itself. The adult male pixie dragons displays bright and vivid colors, going from bright blues to even a reddish hue, and they become even more vibrant during mating season.
