Sousuke really is the greatest character! You have no idea how much he's messed with my head, forcing me to be come up with all source of shit just 'cause he's so fun to "work with". Best character in the history of anime! No, I meant it as a joke as well ;D But we all know it was meant as fanservice 'cause that's what Free! is all about. It's obvious they wanted the yaoi fangirls to associate that scene with sex. Which, in that case, Sousuke would prefer bottom as well, but is willing to top if necessary - this is some badass Freud level of analyzing xD!
Nothing beats when you practice drawing one of your fave characters faces to make them fit your style perfectly <3 I think you're pretty much there already, but I'll look forward to see what adjustments you have in store ^^!
