Alaric was beaming. Storm had just come back from checking on Rua and told him that both her and the foal would be back soon. Yumi was laying with him, her head on his back, soaking in the sunlight. Al sighed happily. Both Stormy and Yumi were pregnant with his foals. Nothing could make this day any better. Storm lay down on his other side and began to groom his long mane. Suddenly, Yumi giggled. Alaric didn't realize his eyes had closed, but he opened them and glanced at her.
"What's so funny?" He asked.
"Just those mares over there, oogling at you. I'm counting how long they're going to stand there before they actually come over and try to join us."
"How do you know they want to join my herd?" Al asked, closing his eyes again and enjoying the grooming he was receiving.
Storm stopped grooming Alaric and stared at him.
"Alaric, any mare who saw you and didn't want to spend >i/i< with you would have to be >i/i<. You're a very impressive stallion, and quite.....muscular." She said, glancing over him approvingly.
"Mhmm." Yumiko hummed in agreement.
"Ooop, here they come," Storm said. "How long?"
"Sixteen minutes and thirty-four second." Yumi said, watching the mares as they walked over.
"Hello!" The white mare said, the black mare trailing behind her.
"Hello ladies." Alaric grinned.
"My friend and I were passing by and couldn't help noticing such a >i/i< stallion. I'm Earla. This is my friend Serenity." The white mare explained.
The black mare finally spoke up. "We were wondering if we could join your herd, sir."
Al nodded. "Well, ladies, you both are welcome in my herd. I'm Alaric, bit you can can me Al."
"Y-you can call me R-ren...if you want." Serenity said quietly.
"You can call me >i/i< you want." Earla purred, winking.
"Alrighty....Spots." Alaric smirked. Having a herd made him more confident, maybe even cocky.
Earla giggled before laying down were she stood, Serenity following suit.
