Among the animals at the zoo these seemed to be the most curious and interested in the audience. A group of girls who came by while I was photographing talked about how it looked like the devils were planning on how to get out to kill and eat them. Might not be the worst guess.Related content

True, Tassies are fierce and they like to bite. They especially like to bite each other in the face when they meet in the forest. Which is a bit of a shame these days because a lot of the devils in their native Tasmania has got a infectious cancer that spreads through their saliva. Nasty stuff. At least this one is safe in Denmark. For now.

Yes I saw that on TV it was horrible to see them suffer. I think people are trying to help them but I suppose only time will tell if they will be successful. Maybe the "ex pat" devils will be the ones that survive. I don't like to see animals suffer.
