Okay, no. NO. To both of you.

First off, Poison is just as much a woman as any other. Regardless of what she started as. Second, "trap" is a word for an extremely feminine young man, not a transsexual. Using it to describe a trans individual only reinforces the disgusting notion that they are the way they are for the purpose of "tricking" heterosexual men into nonconsentual gay activities.

I think you're reading too much into what we said and being too sensitive. Anyone would be SURPRISED to know Poison's actually a guy, looking at how overly sexualized she is. I think that's technically a trap, in a "bait-surprise" definition of the word.

Please don't be overly sensitive about these stuff. Someone says something about an individual, and you jump in and put the whole class in the mix. I would advise you to STOP generalizing people or any other social group out there. The whole DELIBERATE trickery thing you mentioned didn't even cross my mind. Thank you for reminding me of that idea.

Also FYI, I know the whole "Poison is a transvestite" thing is just Capcom's excuse to prevent people from saying they let kids beat girls up. Yeah, she's actually female... well at first.

I may seem oversensitive, but really I'm just tired of seeing these kinds of comments all over the place, typically from people MUCH less well-meaning than you. And no, "trap" is still not applicable to transsexuals, cause the surprise doesn't come from finding out what they used to be. A "trap" was always meant to be a boy so overly feminine that you don't realize he's male until you start getting intimate with him. And even that use of it is a tad questionable.

And when I say she's a woman, I don't just mean Capcom intended for her to be one before having to censor her, I mean a transsexual woman is still a woman.

Likewise, I am tired of seeing people talk about being righteous or politically correct or something, when in fact... they are the ones who bring up the "political incorrectness" even though things weren't supposed to be seen or nobody else sees things that way.

But I think I understand where you're coming from and am in no way against such talk/people. Just wanted to make things clear. 

As for your last point... I see. Technically, yes.
