Description
The finished version of an illustration of Dorian Gray I did as a little present for a literature loving friend of mine. The original has some additional light glitter on the framework and quotation. The main idea was depict the handsome version of Dorian the way he appears to be described in the book - youthful and innocent looking. His degradation on the picture behind him is, of course, not yet near its final stages and I wanted it to look a little like a psycho or a saddist. Although I've been told by my boyfriend that he doesn't quite look that evil....

Woah, the mirror image does have a creepy stare *shudders*
I know the story in rough, but have never actually read it. I probably should XD

Same here actually. I always had it on my "plan-on-reading" list, but somehow never got to read it... yet! I will someday, I will.
But I got to the idea of drawing this anyway because I got this sketch in my head when thinking what I should draw for a literature loving new friend of mine. And I happened to have made the perfect choice as she was just finished with reading that one before I gave it to her.

It looks quite evil. At first I saw it and was scared for my life.
