"Only you rainbow" replied her exasperated friends. Even Pinkie was looking annoyed by now.

"Yeah, I'm pretty awesome - maybe the most awesome pony in all of Equestria!" the bombastic pony shouted, pumping her hoof into the air. At this point, her friends were practically fuming.

"All right, I've had enough!" Applejack shouted, pulling out her lasso and roping the unsuspecting pegasus.

"Wha - Applejack! What are you doing?" Rainbow asked, but was ignored.

"Come on y'all, or are ya just going to stand there and listen to her brag fer another 10 hours!" The other Ponies looked to each other with a nod, and then turned their vengeful gaze to Rainbow who blushed and let out an audible gulp. She tried to run, but soon found herself engulfed in Twilight's magic and pulled into the relative privacy of the Golden Oaks Library. Pinkie then jumped up to her, the party pony's enthusiasm restored, and quickly yanked Rainbow's forelegs behind her before binding them with rope provided by Applejack. Her wings were next, being bound to her sides with expert precision rendering the pegasus effectively an earth pony.

"Ugh! Grrr-ugh!" Rainbow grunted, pulling at her new bindings. "Come on guys, please let me go! Is this some sort of joke Pinkie? Please the ropes are too tight! Please you're ruffling my feathers!"

"Darling, you should be happy we don't clip them! Now, I'm getting tired of your complaints, so open wide," Rarity said, pulling off the scarf she wore around her neck with magic. "I assure you Rainbow dear, this is the finest silk in all of Canterlot. It will be quite comfortable."

"N-nn-no, you don't mean it, please don't gag me! I'm sorry okay! I'm sorry! Please nommmmppphh!" Rainbow's pleas were cut short by the scarf being pulled tight into her mouth behind her teeth. Rarity gave the cleave gag an extra tug as she tied it off behind her neck.

"Be quiet Rainbow!" said Twilight as she dragged the struggling pegasus to the basement and threw her on an old cushion.

"Pleeeewwspph Ayyymmph smph Swwrryyy! Donph Lmmph Mph Hrrrrrr!"

"SHUT UP RAINBOW!" the four ponies shouted, slamming the door to the basement and locking it, leaving the sniffling pegasus in the dark to struggle futilely against her tight bonds.

"A night in there ought-a knock her down a few notches" Applejack said to the affirming nods of her friends. Just then Fluttershy entered the library with a saddle bag full of groceries.

"Hi girls, where's Rainbow?" asked the butter yellow pegasus.

"Oh she's in a bit of a bind!" replied the pink party pony with a jump.
