No, don't add colors! It's mesmerizing and fascinating like this. If you add color, the attention of the viewer could be distracted, and it will be a pity.

Personally, I think the greyscale looks perfect the way it is. It's like some sort of weird illusion. Color might detract from the surreal, illusion-like quality.

pretty cool render, love the detail in this. You could try adding some lighting effects to give it a more dramatic effect

How long did it take to make? And render?

It took me probably all of an hour to make becuase believe it or not everything is in sequence. But it took a total of 1.5 hours to render on a 2.4ghz processor.
