It was a lot of experiments with 3DS Max + FumeFX (i'm noob) + MentalRay (noob to).

But LuxRender is my favorite renderer, but it have no supprort for some features... This moment we can make (in blender) and render(luxrender) fume simulation, but no way to make a flame rendering. No volume emission this moment. I hope i will be in some time.

Free software have some limits For example i'm using self-made scripts to render furs in Poser 2014 -> Reality -> Luxrender. More steps for blood scenes. Poser->3DMax->Realflow->3DMax->Poser->Reality->Luxrender (and a lot of time to render).

Thanks for the elaborate answer! I'm unfortunately not acquainted enough with this set of programmes (I'm just noobing around in DAZ right now) to use it, but thanks anyway!

Take a look about Reality (cheap) & Luxrender (free) for DAZ Studio. Luxrender takes a lot of CPU and RAM.
You make some... interesting stuff. Nazi leather and some blood...
