Description
This was made for my design and layout class. We had to redesign the American flag. The flag design I went with involves two symbols; the monkey in place of the stars and the bones in the place of the stripes. I chose this symbolism as a way of expressing the primitive nature of American government. I feel that a civilized nation is defined by its ability to exist peacefully with other nations and to solve disputes with words, not weapons. America does not demonstrate this level of civilization, thus it should be considered primitive.
