INSECTO

Once a friendly entomologist named Karl Johansson who in his laboratory studied the DNA of several insects. Since he searched for certain genes in the samples - he marked them with radioactivity. But the machine which would have read the radioactive markers exploded and the insects DNA got buried in his own body. His DNA mixed with the insect DNA. The entomologist transformed, he was no longer the entomologist known as Karl Johansson. He was now Insecto - the hero with insectlike powers. Like an ant he can lift things 50 times his own weight, his mantislike talons can cut through steel and armour and just like a wasp he can fly towards his target on gracefull wings. And not only that, he can communicate with insects and call upon them to fight for him.

I made this dude for the TC#41 contest over at [link] where the theme was "make a superhero". Since I am a huge fan of the marvel comics, I tried to give my hero Insecto a marvel like look and I also stationed him in N.Y.
