Description A Hirogen of the Star Trek universe vs a Yautja of the Predator series. Two alien species that revolve around trophy hunting of both sentient and non-sentient species.

The Hirogen are a technologically advanced race that is wholly nomadic, roaming the stars in hunting packs in search of prey and unique trophies of either biological or technological origin. They're armed with a Tetryon Disruptor rifle that can fire either single long range tetryon particle bursts, short range rapid fire bolts, or the ability to 'bounce' a burst off of a wall into a corresponding direction, and it possesses a sensor display to help track prey; a Scavenger Rifle that fires rapid pulses of energy from medium to short range, as well as an energy-costly energy grenade capable of knocking out multiple targets; as well as a plethora of bladed weapons, their favorite of which is a scythe-like knife with a broad cutting edge and two sharp points. They wear a full suit of body armor that has internal life support with a breathing apparatus over the mouth and nose, and it can protect the hunter in a variety of hostile environments, including the surface of a collapsed star; and they carry a scanning device like a tricorder that reveals the bio-data of prey. They are above average in height and possess above average physical strength over most humanoid species; they can move in silence and emit no scent; they have acute sensory perception; and their immune system is heightened enough to neutralize every sedative known to the Federation.

The Yautja are also a technologically advanced race that originates from their homeworld, Yautja Prime, that is divided into rival clans that seek skeletal trophies of worthy prey. They're armed with the shoulder mounted Plasma Caster with a triangular laser rangefinder that can fire plasma pulses ranging from a minor stunning/wounding blast to one powerful enough to sunder the atmospheric plating of an interstellar craft, but can also be easily damaged; a Gauntlet Plasma Bolt that is only moderately effective, being stopped by human body armor that had to be hastily removed as it became red hot; the Spear Gun that fires bifurcated metal darts at high velocity; the Smart Disc that is thrown like a discus and returns to the thrower, able to easily cut through flesh and bone, also able to be used as a hand weapon; the Net Gun that fires a man-sized net at a target, throwing them violently against the nearest surface, then begins to constrict itself and cut apart the target inside, but the net can be cut open by a hand weapon; the Combi Stick which resembles a telescopic spear and can pierce many materials such as human body armor and steel; the Wrist Blades which are their most common hand weapon, forged from an unknown alloy and indestructible compared to Earth-based metal blades, able to be fired from their housing in case of emergency; and their Self-Destruct Device mounted on their wrist computer with a relatively short countdown that detonates a small nuclear-like explosion which destroys an area equivalent to 300 city blocks. They wear a Mask that functions as a respirator, sound amplifier, has multiple vision modes, a zoom function, some diagnostic capabilities, and a voice translator/recorder; Plate Armor made of several layers and able to stop bullets as well as delay the corrosive effects of a Xenomorph's acid blood; a Cloaking Device that bends light around the hunter, projecting a semi-transparent image that can be spotted by close observation and is rendered inoperable by contact with water; and a Medicomp that contains various medical supplies to perform minor surgery and repair superficial wounds. They are above average in height; possess above average strength that can easily outmatch a conditioned human male and shatter solid concrete with their bare hands; enhanced durability, able to recover from multiple gunshot wounds and radiation doses that would be fatal to humans; skilled climbers able to readily move through trees or over rooftops in pursuit of prey; and they naturally see on the infra-red spectrum.

A cheap ripoff vs. the Real Deal? This proposal is nothing but a bad joke!

The Predator will win. He's no more two-dimensional than the Hirogen were, and unlike the ripoff, he's actually a SKILLED HUNTER.

Yes.
The Hirogen are an entire species where everyone is like Elmer Fudd.
