FINALLY, something I seem to be a pioneer of here on dA: MarthXSheeda(Shiida, Caeda).Sorry for the drought when it comes to my Fire Emblem art, so I hope this is acceptable. I drew something similar to this a while back, but I'm not sure where the sketch went and the proportions were off... like usual... So instead of digging it up, I decided to just redraw part of it. I ended up basing their designs off of chapter 24 of the manga, but I have my reasons for that: the backstory to this, but that probably won't make it to the internet anytime soon.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy with this
About time I uploaded something of Marth and his love.In the canon.

As great as the pairing is, I find it a little sad that they're basically the only characters who get their "Happily Ever After". Okay, maybe Merric and Elice too, but that's the extent of it.

I guess it depends on what pairings you support later on in the series, though. For example: I tend to support Eirika and Seth in The Sacred Stones, and things seem to turn out alright for them.
But you're right: Coming across a "happy ending" is getting rarer in FE these days.

I really find it ironic that he's one of the most commonly used fandom sex/ship slaves in Smash Bros., when he's like one out of three characters with an actual spouse. I think that if they actually used his boyish look, it may have been a little better. (But considering how many pedo fan girls are on the Internet, that may not be the case...)
Also, what is he actually like? I've only played Awakening, and the profiles I've read weren't that detailed. And I mean him in New Mystery, not Shadow. I just hate it when I see his character launched across the spectrum. Still, Ike and Roy do get their every trait inverted... Though Marth's case is probably one of the most spectacular.

This is quite good; it's nice to see a non-yaoi picture of Marth. Even better, this is canon. It makes me wonder why there isn't more art of this pairing on DA.

I don't know. Probably because Shadow Dragon isn't as well known as something like Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn, plus the already-established SSB pairings fanbase...
