Now I always asked that to myself: Why does Yoshi as a cape, when he's supposed to have wings in that case? It suits him better considering he's dragon like

oh, that's why. Hmm, I don't know, it feels too much 'human-like" for a Yoshi to have a cap, even though he is humanized in lots of games ( a dinosaur playing tennis^^).
